Pain Management
Acupuncture increases blood and energy flow, which stimulate the body to produce natural painkillers like endorphins and
serotonin. It can be used to treat both acute and chronic pain, including but not limited to: muscle aches, back pain,
fibromyalgia, arthritis, and migraines.
Women’s Health
Traditional Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, is a safe and beneficial treatment for many health issues which affect women.
These include menstrual issues, menopause/post-menopause syndrome, hormonal imbalances, and endometriosis. For pregnant women,
acupuncture can be used to reduce morning sickness, turn a breech baby, and induce labor. Furthermore, acupuncture can be used to
treat both physical discomfort as well as the emotional effects—including alleviating depression and anxiety.
Fertility and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Support
Acupuncture has been used for centuries to help treat certain causes of infertility. For women, acupuncture improves ovarian and
follicular function, regulate the menstrual cycle, treat endometriosis, and increase blood flow to the uterine lining. For men,
acupuncture improves sperm count and sperm health.
Additionally, acupuncture treatment before and during intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) can improve
the chance of a successful pregnancy. Acupuncture can also reduce IVF hyperstimulation, a common side effect which causes pain and
swelling throughout the body. Finally, acupuncture is also beneficial for treating the anxiety and emotional stress experienced by
both partners during the long IVF journey.
Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
Collagen is an important component of skin that helps it stay smooth, healthy and glowing. As a side effect of aging, the amount
of collagen in skin decreases, leading to wrinkles. Cosmetic facial acupuncture can be used to naturally rejuvenate the skin and
enhance its appearance. For this type of acupuncture, extra-fine needles are delicately inserted at specific points and along
smile lines to increase blood flow and stimulate collagen production, leading to overall smoother and healthier skin. Cosmetic
facial acupuncture avoids the side effects of surgery or Botox, at a much lower cost.

when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissues and organs. Acupuncture can help reduce stress,
inflammation, and fever while enhancing blood circulation. Research shows that this improves tissue health and eases negative
symptoms.
