Research Interests: Our laboratory studies potential causes, risk
factors, and treatment of patients
with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and interstitial lung disease. We study how fibroblasts
contribute to IPF disease progression through their activation and epigenetic modifications. We also
study how air pollution and epigenetic changes may contribute to the development of asthma and other
chronic lung diseases.
