Research Interests: My research is focused on 1) developing strategies to mitigate breast cancer
risk
associated with metabolic syndrome by lifestyle modifications and by re-purposing some of the commonly prescribed medications to prevent
breast cancer initiation and progression; 2) elucidating how novel immunotherapy such as CAR T therapy can induce epitope spreading and
how
combination therapy can unleash the anti-tumor effects of our own immune system; and 3) how we can use large data to enhance our
understanding of tumor biology with the common goal of improving breast cancer outcomes.
