Clinical Interests:Dr. Zhao is a behavioral neurologist with fellowship training in Aging & Dementia. She sees patients with cognitive impairment and dementia in the Midtown Healthy Aging Neurology Clinic. She has special clinical interest and expertise in patients with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA).
Research Interests:Dr. Zhao has a M.S. in Epidemiology from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. Her clinical research focuses on lifestyle protective and risk factors for dementia. She is interested in factors underlying cognitive reserve and resiliency.
